Look at this gorgeous layout on JCrew.com! I want it all, especially the adorable flats. All of my work pants are way too long to wear with flats. I’m thinking about taking them all to the tailor to be hemmed to wear with flats. They’re about 2 years old, so I feel like it’s been long enough that I can justify buying another set of pants to be my high heel pants. I usually wear 3″ heels, so there’s no way I can have pants that will work for both sets of shoes. I keep having urges to spend money, but I think if the clothes fit me perfectly, it’s more of a good investment.

I just discovered the amazingness that is the Whole Foods website. I usually get my recipes from FoodNetwork.com, but I think WholeFoods.com might be my newest resource. There’s even a blog! There’s even a post about how to get more omega-3s into your diet, which is exactly what I’m trying to do.

I’m watching this week’s episode of Ugly Betty and Mark’s outfit was so insane that I had to share. Who in their right mind would think those pants are a good idea?! It’s a little bit MC Hammer… maybe he watched the first episode of The Fashion Show on Bravo and heard that harem pants are apparently the new must have item. lol.

My grandfather always told me to eat my carrots so that I could see in the dark (and then the next week it was so that my hair would be curly…. so maybe not the best nutritional advice). CNN.com says Fish, Olive Oil, Nuts Good For Eyes Too, More Studies Find. This works out well since I’m planning on starting to follow the Mediterranean diet, which includes a lot of those foods. I get sick insanely often, so I think it’s time for me to try eating in a different way. I’m not really sure what I eat now, but it’s definitely carb-heavy. I usually have a bagel for breakfast, peanut butter & jelly for lunch and pasta for dinner. I’m not really into trying new things, but something has to change. I just thought about the money I’ve spent on expenses related to being sick for the past three months (doctor’s visits, prescriptions, blood tests, etc) and it’s more than $300!! If I add in the value of the time I take off from work, it skyrockets. I think if I put $100 more into my food budget every month of the “right” type of foods, it could definitely help me lower my medical expenses, now and for the rest of my life.

Look what I just bought from Etsy! I can’t wait to get them. I bought them from yumiyumi, who has a store full of similarly adorable artwork.

Yes, I bought the same print in two different colors. It’s just so adorable! I couldn’t resist. I think that one might go to work with me to decorate my cube. Gray 4 foot walls are pretty boring, I think it needs a little personality.
